Dr. Songping Gao

Songping Gao enrolled in the Physics department of Sun Yat-Sen University in 1978. After receiving his B.S. degree in 1982, he was hired as an assistant instructor in the University. Songping came to United States for his graduate study in 1988. He earned his MS degree in Physics, University of Southern Mississippi, in1990 and his Ph.D. degree in Electronics & Instrumentation, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, in 1994.

Songping Gao has been working in high tech industry in USA since 1994. His professional experience covers R&D and engineering in the fields of semiconductor equipment, Bio-medical device, automobile sensor device, etc.?He published papers in journals and holds multiple patents.

Besides his professional occupation, the Songping also voluntarily participates in alumni activities in his spare time. He was the president of New England Sun Yat-Sen University Alumni Association. Currently he is the honor committee member of Sun Yat-Sen University Alumni Association. In addition, he keeps interests in research of college education. He provides guidance and standard test training service to help high school students for the preparation to university. Many students, who were under his guidance and training programs, have been accepted by Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Stanford, Princeton, UC Berkeley, Cal-Tech, Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, Duke, TUFTS, Carnegie Mellon, etc.

Dr. Gao is the founder and president of Colleges Preparation Center of Boston (CPCB), which provides high school students with professional services including standard test training (SAT, AP, SSAT, TOEFL, etc.), college application plan/preparation/process, and tutoring for high school courses.


Elizabeth Dankoski

Elizabeth graduated from Wellesley College with an English degree and then earned her MFA in Creative nonfiction writing from Bennington. Before she joined CPCB, she was a lead tutor in Wellesley College's writing department and CEO of a professional tutoring company. Elizabeth has a vast amount of experience and a strong background in teaching reading and writing. Students who worked with her experienced a huge improvement in essay writing and reading skills. Elizabeth has a rigorous and meticulous style of teaching, along with her own way of teaching writing. She provides local American students and Chinese students with SAT, AP, SSAT professional test training as well as training for college application essays. Many of her students have gotten into America's top Universities such as Harvard University, Princeton University, MIT, Stanford University, Colombia University, UC Berkeley, Yale University, Brown University, Cornell University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University etc.

 



Cynthia Kessel

Cynthia earned both her bachelor's and master's degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst in the years of 1986 to1995. Starting in 2001, Cynthia taught in high schools and worked as a tutor in a training center. The main subjects she taught were biology, chemistry, math, physics, SAT, SSAT and TOFEL. She also helped students with writing and with preparing their college applications. Cynthia’s class utilizes many activities that help students learn better.
